I am an engineering student from Germany completing my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering & Robotics in Boston.
My first taste of the working world was at Energy Consulting South Bavaria, where I explored renewable energy applications for households and organized client databases in Excel. As I progressed through my Bachelor's, I found myself drawn to solving real engineering problems. That led me to Siemens, where I built a digital twin of a robotic cell and got my first real look at the scale of the automation industry.
That experience changed my trajectory. I shifted my Mechanical Engineering degree toward a Robotics concentration for my final two years and spent the following year building hands-on robotics projects to develop a deeper understanding of these systems. Wanting to push further, I spent the next summer at Amazon, learning how automation and robotics operate at fulfillment-center scale, from material flow and automated systems to coordinating and supporting a team of technicians.
Now I'm back at Boston University starting my senior year, taking three advanced robotics courses while building an autonomous robot for monitoring noise levels in libraries as my capstone project.
Outside academics, I stay active through tennis, running, and the gym. I've played tennis competitively since I was 11, run a few times a week to keep my cardio up, and train at the gym almost every day.
